My teacher training with TLSE was a truly transformative experience that laid the foundation for my journey into educational leadership. The programme offered an excellent blend of theory and practice, allowing me to apply what I learned directly in the classroom while being supported by expert mentors. The focus on research-informed teaching, reflective practice, and developing strong subject knowledge gave me the confidence to create engaging lessons and nurture a love of learning across the curriculum. TLSE’s supportive and collaborative approach made me feel part of a community committed to excellence in education.

Through ongoing mentoring and professional development, I’ve grown from a trainee teacher into a Maths Lead in a primary school, where I now have the privilege of supporting colleagues and shaping the school’s approach to maths teaching and learning. My training instilled in me a passion for helping children see themselves as capable learners and for creating a culture where staff feel empowered to innovate. Looking back, my time with TLSE was not just the start of my teaching career—it was the launchpad for becoming a confident leader who can make a lasting difference in children’s education.
